All right, to give a bit more info on the film... I wrote a brief synopsis/script in 2004... and I've always loved the idea, so I thought it would be a good horrorfest film.

By the way....i live in the quiet country....so i always keep a fan on when i sleep. You could say i'm a fan person. However....according to "rebel without a crew" robert rodriguez is also a fan person...so i'm in good company.

it's goin' all right. days have been hectic. Just finished shooting Smuggler's Ransom. Finishing up a film this weekend for a friend, who is showing it at his school next weekend. Also finishing up a wedding video this weekend. I hope to slip some writing time in there as well. Hoping for a early Sep. shoot. And we'll keep the VFX to a minimum as we'll have little time for post.

The weird thing with Jack is that the photo of Nicholson has made me picture Jack as Jack..so whenever I see the Jack Daniel Stanley name under a thread I think of Nicholson...and it's like the books you read and you picture the characters and when the movie is made you go like 'oh crap, he's not how I imagined him while reading the book'. So Jack DONT show your face, at least I haven't seen it. You'll be Nicholson to me! LOL!

ok... there's just no way I can do this... I've been asked to produce another short that I wrote, and I get into pre-production on that this week... Henry may continue without me, but I've gotta throw in the towel ya'll...Sorry to hear that Brandon.

So, I guess there is a limit to the amount of plates you can spin on a stick :beer:(Edit : Is the flick going ahead with others at the helm ?)

there is a limit, for sure. If this other thing hadn't have come up, I might continue this one, but the other flick is for work, and though I'd rather do a horror short than a kid's short film... I don't get paid for the horror short :) Plus I think ya'll will like the kid's movie, it's a Superhero movie, sort of inspired by the old Batman TV show :)

Anyway, not sure if Henry (g0ldenb0y55) is gunna continue on or not.

Glad to see you got this one rolling again. Hey, and to shoot, edit and mix this one in less than 4 hours is simply amazing! You must have had the CGI guys processing the footage live out of the camera on their laptops! Awesome!

And that crane shot!!! Did you guys use a REAL construction crane? I felt like I was coming down the first BIG hill of a roller coaster.

So, how DID you do that impaling scene? And that part with the guy without any skin on him, that really freaked me out.

BTW - I let my kids watch this one, you know, being a Brandon Rice flick and all, and now I'm sorry I did. They were up with nightmares all night, and they only watched the first minute!

Good job. Way to go for the jugular, LITERALLY!
