pretty sweet tech, somewhat similar to NHK's ultra high def solutions..

This Cinevision is at the proof of concept stages, but its great to see the industry pushing the envelope for more pixels, not letting 1080p satisfy them for anything more than a brief moment.

I love ballsy projects like this. Very cool.

One question though. What camera out there can shoot for that type of presentation? It's kinda like Cinerama, no?

Right now the same kinda shooting solution can be uses, stitching together alot of individual cameras to make one.

LOL! I can imagine seeing five HVX's or H1s sitting on a custom mount (which would be massive) shooting UltraVision HD.

That would be a fun project actually.
