Call me crazy, but today i had the random idea of turning my wall into a green screen room. I needed something to motivate me to clean it because i havent cleaned in.... 1 year... so alas, a green screen wall was the perfect idea! yeah the wall itself isnt perfect, theres the obvious wrinkle's but atleast its HUGE.

Don't mean to poop in your proverbial cheerios but is that corner going to raise some monumental issues? As portions of it are off hue and definitevly black. Other then that looks awesome def cool. Were did you get the fabric from?

Is that TINY black crease on the matte in his shadow (if I could figure out how to post pics I'd highlight it) the only thing that showed up? Because....holy shit thats good for a "corner in your bedroom green screen" PLEASE take into account I'm out over analyzing it and intentionally searching because I saw the setup. Thats a good pull.

i have to look at it in a sec, i think it might be. (since its flat up against my wall, i just gotta bring out the iron if it is) lol Editing the footage right now. Ill pull an all green sample for ya in a sec

Yeah, its the crease between the 2 fabrics, what imma do is cut a slender 2inch x 25foot piece to smoothen it out, thanks for pointing it out. Footage is almost ready.

Good job...it's amazing how much you can get away with when you add in sound effects, titles, and a green-screened B.G.! For most purposes, it really does look like you're shooting someone in a back alley.

pretty cool. i know you saw the shadow dancing around due to the chromakeying. what software did you use for the chromakey? my only concern if you were going to use it a lot. the close-up had a shadow. you pulled back and there was none...continuity :)
however it keyed very well...by the way i have some joanne's fabric myself. i bought green and blue awhile back.

But have you thought about telling girls you have a green screen in your bedroom and you want to show it to them. Hehe. Really great job. What was the lighting? And which fabric from Joanne's?

lol, oh ive told girls. Actully about.... 8 have been like "COOL I WANNA COME OVER AND SEE IT, I WANT YOU TO MAKE ME ON AN ISLAND!" .... hopefully they mean an island of porn. lol.. Nah, but as for the fabric, i acidently tossed the thing that said what it was, but i assume i can go back with a tiny cut sample and find the #. I just looked for the brightest green i could find.

Nice job.
Keylight is a really impressive plugin. Can you put up a frame grab of the closup using the Screen Matte view? I'm thinking you can tighten the edges of your key..make them a little less soft. Its fine for this project, but if you're going to put girls on an island you'll want to get the best edge possible.

Haha yeah, and post those island ones too. I have about 10ft by 10ft of that material, but from FabricLand here in Canada. I think they've gone bankrupt though. I have yet to put it up anywhere, but you've inspired me to do something with the material.

I was thinking about painting my whole room in Green Screen Green, but then I realized it be too bright. :( Maybe Blue Screen? I could do behind the scenes interviews in my room without having to bring in any backgrounds.

Kegan, when I put together my greenscreen I went to fabricland at Yorkdale mall (the store no longer existed) and bouclair, which had a craptacular selection. The fabric I got ended up being a waste of money - too dark, and a pain to key.
I plan on getting a green screen off ebay. They generally go for 40-60 dollars Canadian.

Oh that's not too bad. I spent about $40 in material alone and then had to have someone sew it together.
