Aymar,
Nice job!
Can you break down what equipment you used to shoot this, it looks & sounds gorgeous! I can't wait to see the finished product (I hope there'll be subtitles).
Next year I'm going to shoot a documentary in Thailand, so any direction you can provide would me much appreciated!
Thank you & keep up the good work!

Hi !!! NANGAREF!!
Thanks everybody for reply, thanks!
At the moment this LP starts only in Spain, but i think in a few time has upload to Itunes or another one.
When you buy one LP, inside there've one paper for write to Label and they send to you one copy of this documentary in DVD.
At the end of this week i can know if the documentary will show at the IN-Edit (http://www.in-edit.beefeater.es/inedit2006/cms/front_content.php) Beefeater film festival. where only shows music movies and documentaries.
...and maybe i can will show too at Catalonian television (TV3 / Our National TV)
I hope do it!
I try this camara because i am not a perfect photografyman and only work with 25p PAL and cinema look... ah i start to learn use some filters and for first time i used a polarize one (sorry i don't know if write well) and i amazed for the results.
And record the sound with DAT an superb microphones
OF COURSE if somebody knows or work for one televion i can send one copy. It's possible translate to english with subtitles. i will edit an 52' version for TV.
NANGAREF ALCHEMIST! don't forgget the French televisions if you do one documentary in Senegal too.
Well! i see you next time!!
Sorry but i don't write english very well...
SALUT!!

Hola guerrerocelestial.
Para el docu de Dakar usé unos Shoep respuesta corta pero, cuando voy solo utilizo un cañon-shotgun Senheisser M66+K6.

Hola Stan_the_man !
I Shoot all the documentary with 16:9 (widescreen squeeze) mode and 25p.
Ah! i can't understand whynot the DVX100 in PAL version HAVEN'T 24P
What that f**k is this? Sorry for this words... but what's happening here?
Someone of panasonic brand can explain this?????????????????????????
When the brands, labels and other people abuse with this actions i love the people who hackinng and modify the machines.
Here (http://www.reel-stream.com/) you can see how this guys transform DVX100 ntsc to uncompressed video camera and can record HD, Some one can do it with a PAL version?
Someone can Record 24p with dvx100 with PAL version??

You shot in squeeze? wow. I thought that was a big no-no. Guess not.
Looks great!
Is your camera the 100b?
What scene file settings did you use?
aymar

Hola!
Hi, Bokes!
Well the model is ag-DVX100Ae , i buy it in Barcelona (it's a PAL version).
i Use a scene called CINE in F6 because i new with this camera.
Too much people ask me if i shoted in 4:3 or 16:9. I do it in 16:9, but when i export the movie with FCP i recompress to H 264 and resize it. When do it the two black brands in top and bottom erased. Or... i use too a sorenson squezze program for cut the brands .
Well... sorry if my english it's so bad.
bye, hastaluego!
badass
I like Taxista ful
