Here's some horrible footage I shot of Quest Love with my ghetto homemade adapter. It confirmed my original suspicion that I need to buy one eventually. No CC, just flip. 50mm f/1.8 lens with occasionally +9 gain I think. Camera is a HC1 btw.

On a side note, I recently bought a 55mm f/1.2 that came with a toshiba UV filter and BS-58 lens hood. The filter causes a glare, and goes away when I take it off. Is this because it's a cheap filter or are there other problems I dunno about?

wow, that is SUPER dark .. how many stops of light are you losing?

I have no idea but the studio itself was pretty dark. Outdoor footage is fine. Main problems are softness and vignetting. I think my focusing screen distance was off. As far as vignetting, I coulda zoom in more but that'd mean I'd have to get even further back which sucks cuz I had a small light on top of the camera.

wow, that is really, really soft. what screen are you using. the outdoor shots are the ones im mentioning. perhaps it can be fixed by different gg.
