silicon imaging has cineform.. and according the last news from a $2,500 notebook.. will RED also?
i mean besides the cineform option.. it would be great!.. an affordable editing solution?

there are lots of things you can edit on a notebook BUT it is not the same/power as editing on a DESKTOP ... when i'm on the road i edit/view cineform HD clips on notebook but i would NOT " edit" a project on a notebook ...

i follow your concern mister.. but i need to.. i'm a gipsy.. i live in several countries and this is my only way to work.. tell me: can you confirm me if even with those limitations if will it be viable?
not just view.. final cut (but not that one from Apple eheh.. too much expensive..)
without effects only cc but ready to broadcast or to film-out

We have RED CODE - more details later, but it should more than meet your needs.

I'm assuming the RED CODE software comes with the camera? Will it be sold separately?

I'm working madly on codec stuff at the moment. We'll be able to talk more when we know more.

Yes RED CODE comes with camera. Im sure if deemed necessary, it will be available seperately.
