i was doing the "Human" Cable Cam today . I was attach from my left and right side of my regular climbing harness with a tension bar the size of my shoulder ,
6 inch above my head, link to a double seal bearing pouley. The dual harness line and tension bar prevent me from spinning while i'm on the cable . Since i'm hook from the belt of the harness my entire weight was on my belly/lower ribs whickh make the whole shot really unconfortable.
Now there is my question , does anyone know a good way to modify or make a "DeltaPlan" style harness which mean that you can be in the superman position while you film on the ziptrek and have the right repartition of your weight?

BE CAREFULL!!!
Other than the obvious risks involved (make sure you have seperate saftly lines, and try to stay as low as possible, etc...) you need a special harness to support you properly for any amount of time.
A climbing harness is designed to catch you after a fall, but not to support your weight for any extended period of time. Extreme care must be taken to ensure proper circulation. Without any weight on your legs, return circulation slows down, and can lead to loss of conciousness (and if not corrected, worse). The added pressure form a climbign harness compounds this problem.
A harness is somthign that I personally don't screw around with. I'd never consider making one, just as I wouldn't make myself a parachute. It takes a special harness (more than a safty one) to support a person's weight safley for a period of time.
My recomendation woudl be to contact a company or person who specializes in this type of work and ask them for help/advice.

I've got climbing gear that I use for extended support (yes, uncomfortably) and I can tell you that the BEST stuff (that I also use) is TREE GEAR... my favorite harness is blue and orange padded canvas and nylon webbing... I just saw this thread and I'll come back and post the exact one that I have... there were cheaper leather harnesses from Weaver... and there are some that are supposed to be even more comfortable then my blue/orange one... I think they're called "master"...
These are not full body harnesses and they're designed to put you in the seated position... but I think this is where you should look. My blue/orange harness was under $200 and worth every penny... I've used it a hundred times at least... and compared to my Petzl this other one kicks ass... it's so comfortable that I never think about it and can't even remember the name! I never look at it. I just put it on like a pair of pants.

Thanks for your reply, there is 1 picture , this work with a small cable cam line.
Believe it or not the 2 by 4 torsion bar as been suggested to me from a zip trek guide from whistler.
The 2 SEPARATE line and the torsion bar work great but i need to change my harness for sure. I'm using the cable cam for filming dirt jumps so it s not like i need a 500 feet of cablecam.
