my first film dolly

yea, so over the last few days i got really bored and had the urge to make my own film dolly.... so i did.

i've uploaded a video so you guys can check it out, but before u watch it, i've still got some work to do on the dolly so that means its not 100% complete :)

Dolly looks smooth. Now for the sake of your sister, I would take that video off the web.

Yeah... no point in featuring a young girl with the ability to track you down through a forum. Sounds creepy... but the internet is a flytrap for sickos.

If you really want to show the world the projects you're working on don't involve your little sister.

The footage looked okay... rough starts but obviously able to overcome that... you can also use tees and crossbars at the ends to keep the dolly from having to control the pipes as it rolls... and if you have to then sandbag them if they're in the air...

like I said... I wasn't 100% complete. I'd ran out of money this month to spend any more on it, so I'm now waiting till next month so I can get back to making it and buy more stuff for it. yes I was going to buy some support for the track so it stops rolling around, I was also going to buy material so I can cover up the wood which I stand my tripod on. plus, I'm currently making a tripod lock so my tripod stops falling when I'm moving my dolly and for the simple one I'm putting a handle on so I can pull and push the dolly :)
