A while back when Similo went up, there was a loooong thread discussing it in which Macgregor replied a number of times about their tools and workflow. I am fairly sure this is the old link:
http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=46485
But this link is no longer active or I guess it could have been moved. I've done a fair amount of searching and looking through all Macgregor's posts, but I can't find it.
I noticed the original Similo site has also gone and a new teaser site is in its place, suggesting something bigger is being release this summer:

Anyone have a link? Thanks.

Thanks Robert, but I do still have the video - there was no way I was going to let that one slip off my hard drive :-)
The thread is the info I really, really want though as I recall it having some detailed responses from Macgregor about their setups and ideas.

andromeda is www.reel-stream.com - its a method of pulling 4:4:4 uncomressed footage off of a dvx - you can learn more about it at the website... it keeps the mpeg codec from jacking with your footage

I still don't understand where the original thread went. Anyway, here is the video (http://www.macgregor.autoecstasy.com/similo) and here (http://personales.ya.com/elfabrica/IMG_2994.jpg) is a still of the camera in action with a G35 and a Nikon.
