John,
Thanks for the "Hot Damn" The bolex used is Media Militias custom Frankenstein creation. This particular RX-5 was converted to super 16 by jkcamera.com. It also has a 13x viewfinder to with a video tap coming soon. Almost the entire thing was shot with the 10mm macro-switar lens. Thats the real nice "Preset" version that usually goes for $600+ even on ebay. A retail camera store would charge $1200 at least. Anyways this bolex ran all of the footage that needed to be in sync with a Tobin crystal sync motor. The rest of the B-roll was shot the good old fashoned bolex style with the hand cranck. The RX-5 is the best choice when considering a bolex cause you can throw any C-mount lens on it to get a variety of special looks. Or I can throw my nikon F to C mount adapter and run all my Nikon still lenses with modern flare resetant coatings when I need that Higher end look. Plus with s16...keeps the rez and the format consistant to compete and out beat HD oh excuse me, I mean LD...Low Def that is... :) sorry just had to say that! But they just don't make em like they used to...I will post some pics of the camera soon...
