Hello,
I have the HVX200 and broadcast. I was wondering if broadcast allows you to export some kind of quicktime HD file.
Thanks in advance for helping.
I'm not quite happy about the way Quicktime is implemented in EDIUS Broadcast/ProCoder Express but it works.
Push Export button
Print to File
Select Canopus ProCoder Express for EDIUS Wizard
Web Video (it's not within HD!)
Quick Time
Select Audio Type
Select Server Type
Select High Broadband
Saving your File
Advanced Ouput Settings:
- Change output format from 512x384 to whatever you want
- uncheck user defined "limit data rate"
- choose encoder: only Sorenson Video 3 Compressor is currently recommended. There are known problems with H.264 encoder (work in progress).
Close
Convert
Hope this helps.

Thanks Jib that worked. I was wondering what sound encoder you use. My sound quality seems very poor and it sounds tiny, but only when I try exporting in quicktime not in wmv.
Any suggestions?
I usually don't use the Quicktime export and I didn't realize the sound problems you've mentioned.
bhiga - I wonder if you could help.

Remember that QuickTime is a container format like AVI, so it'll really depend on what compression format and settings you use.
The Web presets are pretty low-bandwidth and will generally affect high-quality audio. Use the Movie Trailer or Download QuickTime presets.

How does one do that? (i.e., Download QT presets)
