Wow. They dropped their price. OLEDs are great for their low power consumption.

You may be able to run a notebook with its local resolution and simultaneously drive the external monitor output at 800x600 or just use the 7" LCD...

enough to focus at 1080?

Sure. We have a Fine Focus Zoom mode. In touchscreen mode - touch the middle of the screen...ZOOM...touch again...FULL VIEW!

Other focus-aid visualization modes are on the way.

Any Touchscreen or Mouse-click in the correct zone can be used. Goggles are just monitors. You dont have to use our touchscreen specifically...anyones will work! We havnt finalized the one we will be providing. We are trying to optimize our component selection for best daylight readablitity, In general it will be included wit one of our packages and would need to be puchased separately.

will 800x600 OLEDs be enough to this purpose? if Obin Olsen at your forum posted this hint but at same time the same concern..

what are you thinking about it?.. specially you Mr. Jason Green?

There are higher performance solutions on the market, if you are willing to spend the $$$/Yen. IMHO 800x600 is a very reasonable resolution for a crisp display with digital zoom for fine focus adjustment.

When the next generation devices become cost effective for higher resolution, you can rest assured we will be right there changing our VGA/GPU setting to support it :-).

If you can afford it you can use an Accuscene...

but this OLED is 800x600..

it gives a big screen perception..

it has the best daylight readablitity..

and the OLED technology it was referred by Obin Olsen.. (not the glasses but the technology is the same right?) that guy knows what he's talking about..

Hehehe, no comment about dvinfo. I spoke to himvia email)a few days ago, although it wasn't adapter related. All I know is that it's still on.
