Do you guys ever just research an item online, message post after message
post, google search, etc., and you feel that your head is going to explode? I must
have sat for hours yesterday looking up items for my camera. I think I dreamt
about filters last night - lol.

Isn't that half the fun, though? But just when you think that your head is going to explode then you either: A) say f*ck it and buy the first one you see B) Go to Ebay and go insane bidding on everything C) Post a message here with 'Make This Decision For Me
I wish I could say that it will get easier in time, but the truth is in a month the great words of one Yogi Berra will ring very true: It's like DeJaVu all over again!

I suppose it would make me feel a bit better to call that "research", but more often than not it's just wishful thinking when I'm checking out Joker-Bug kits and Sound Devices recorders.
and if you cannot find on the net where will you find it?!

I remember a reaallly long time ago I wanted these lizards - actually geckos - called Leopard Geckos.
Every day (It was summer and I had no summer camp to go to)
I searched for links about reptiles, and soon memorized so much stuff about all kinds of reptiles that when I finally purchased my gecko, I knew more than the guy I purchased it from. Yeah, I was pretty geeky at the time, but I think you can really learn stuff from that kind of research...
About 2 years later I gave my gecko away. His name was Constantino.
