If one where to have a dockable LCD Viewfinder that could be attached to different parts of the camera depending on necessity, it would immensely add to the ease of use and versatility of the system.
Imagine being able to detach the viewfinder from the left side of the camera, clicking it on to the right for the next shot, and then again to the top of the camera for use on a dolly.

This is a great idea. Small HD monitoring solutions can be expensive. I like to do a lot of jib shots, and being able to remove the monitor from the camera and mount it to the back of my jib would be perfect. Not to mention that I would get all the display information, that would not normally be there on an HDSDI output.
Lets take it a step further, and have RED sell additional monitors and the ability to connect multiple monitors up simultaneously. At NAB they mentioned that the specs for the monitor were not yet set, but it sounds as if they are going to try to make a great monitor. So why not make it so we can buy these same monitors for our other viewing locations, not just on camera. On a steadycam, jib, for the AC, or one that the director holds in his hand. And with the advantage that regular monitors don't always have of having the display information available. (It would be nice to have a switch though to turn display information on or off per monitor though. So the director doesn't need to see everything)
