Need Import Help P2 cards

I have brought footage in through the P2 slot on my laptop several times. I save it on a G-Raid drive an then bring it in to Final Cut. However the last 3 times when I try to bring the footage in to Final Cut I get a error message that says "Path to P2 volume is empty" plus when I then take the card out and play it on the camera I get a play card error. All the files appear on the card and in the folder on my drive. Can anyone help?

Make certain you are actually copying to the G-Raid and not making an alias?

For example, is the lettering in italics?

I will double check, but do you have any idea why the cards would then not play in my camera. Is it possible that the P2 slot is damaged in some way?

Sounds to me like the files on the P2 got corrupted before you dumped them to the G-Raid. Try repairing the clips in camera and then make a disk image of the P2 card in disk utility.

Switch to MCR mode.
select the clip by navigating to it and pressing the pause button.
press menu
go to operation>repair clip.
