A Red One book and DVD or possibly DVD set which covers the Red One like Barry Green's incredible DVX Book and DVD.

This book could be even more extensive than the DVX book since it could be written by the creators of the camera. The book could have a suggestion guide for what parts to read depending on what type of use the camera was acquired for. The book in its entirety, could be a gigantic encyclopedia about the camera, covering virtually every aspect in minute detail, then referenced, which would basically cover much to know about video making today. The book would not have to be such an epic explanation of the camera but that is what I'd desire, however, any such book would be a benediction.

The DVD or possibly more expansive and have it be a DVD set, would cover real examples with the camera, interviews with the creators, and virtual hands on experience. If a DVD was created that showed varying settings and modes for extensively different situation one could learn a vast amount, mainly about the camera but also about cameras and photography in general. The DVDs would cover an array of lighting equipment, displaying a colossal amount of current lighting technology and technique, it would provide instant testing examples for video makers and also a learning tool for those without access to such an array high end equipment. The DVD could display differences in many types of currently used equipment like filters and display color temperature examples and Red's dynamic range. The DVD would be an even greater asset if it showed the different lighting setup examples which achieved each test, to know as much information as possible.

Maybe have the Red One Book and DVD on sale separately from the camera, for those who want to learn everything they can before making a huge financial endeavor.

I didn't want to start another thread just for a variation.

Red One monthly magazine or DVD series could be a subscription similar to magazines like Videography or American Cinematographer. In the case of Red One's magazine or DVD series, the content would be concentrated on Red One projects and how the camera is being used and to what effects. The progress with new generations, separate accessories, work flow, and overall improving technology. Personal interviews and in depth knowledge of what going on, once Red is release perhaps all the secrets can be revealed? I say do it through a delightful magazine or DVD.
