2x4gb 1x8gb combo and P2store.

For one reason and another I've ended up with the above combo of cards. My reasoning was you can do the 2x4gb workflow if you need fast swap overs and then if you want one longish shoot you can use the 8gb.

But, I'm about to buy a P2 store, has anyone used a 4+8 at the same time? I'm concerned that the P2store will format based on the 4gb partition and not leave enough room for the 8gb. Or does it partition for each card on the fly so you can have a combo of 8+4 partitions? Anyone done this?

My understanding (don't have a P2 store) is that it creates one partition at a time, so mixing 4 and 8 gig cards would be no problem. That is how it works when you use the camera to dump to a firewire drive, I don't know why the P2 store would be any different.

Anybody have any feedback in general on the use of the P2 Store unit. Im considering pulling the trigger. I have 2 8GBP2 on order. I have a FS100 also. Thinking the P2 Store would be a nice addition to the card lineup and would help remove a laptop necessity from every shoot.
Anybody using this unit...feedback? THANKS!
