Built into the camera blue tooth or microwave wireless. Doses not need to be broadcast quality just something that could send a signal to a video assist monitor. Could be used for remote focus, stedi Cam feeds, Jib feeds. We all realize that most the time we are going to have a bunch of cables attached to the camera. But what about for those quick shots. That just need to get done and the producer would like to see a monitor. If you guys put something like this in WOW just WOW you would save so many of us so much time. And then just market the red receiver and you can change the transmitter channel all in the RED One Menu.

I like this.. of course it can be done pretty easy with one of the outputs but integrated would be pretty cool. Problem may be compatibility with other systems but if they had a reciever i guess it would be ok. I think its a hard choice to see in this price point though if they invest the time to develop. Might be better as an after market addon.

It does not have to be built in! Wireless connections and much more could be done with existing USB peripherals if there would be a socket and red-drivers for them.

I agree that it could easily be done with after market. But what if I didn't have to find something after market. And then if I don't want to buy the receiver from red but I have a stedi cam shot and they need a monitor or focus pulled I tell them they need to rent me a receiver in stead of a down converter. And I just show up with the cam and I'm good to go. Or what if you could buy one studio receiver and it could receive signals from multiple Red cameras. I am a firm believer the less cables the better and if it was built into the camera it would be a no brainier. But when it is not built in you just use a cable and bitch about the damn cable in the way every time you move the camera. And if you could also receive and send time code. I would just fall over. And kiss the red gods. I have prayed for that for years.
