This would be primarily software based.
You would hook your camera up to your PC/Mac via firewire/USB and launch software on your CPU (and possibley camera) that diagnoses the problem, if any, on your camera.
Then gives you troubleshooting for fixing or checking your camera and if the problem isn't resolved the software/cpu connects you to a live chat with a service technician and/or contact info to the retailer or nearest repair place.
Of course the service techincian would be a extra fee or within the initial warranty of the camera.
Then of course, if possible, you would be able to download firmware updates, add ons (for free and for a price), upgrades, etc to the camera when the time comes. Create a CPU camera in a way. A CYBORG CAMERA!
