A pixel-for-pixel 4k monitor with built in colorimeter and ambient light sensor which would automatically and constantly adjust itself to display the most accurate color possible given the light in the environment.
That would allow for reasonably accurate color previews from (perhaps) scratch graded clips on set, or just for native signal coming off the camera (assuming that doesn't need preprocessing to look nice).
The monitor would need a bit of firmware so you could do some basic setups (perhaps the ability to limit / fake gamut to NTSC, PAL or 709), switch sources, etc.
Of course it should be useable with DVI, HDMI, component RGB, and whatever other annoying new pinout is current at the time RED hits the streets.
