Being able to mark good takes / cuts on the acutal footage.
Let's say you've been doing a scene all day and you have maybe 30 takes for some reason..and there are a few you liked and would consider reviewing again.
well instead of having to kill trees and use paper...mark on the footage with a small box saying Good Take or something like that..then wen you put the footage to the computer..have software sort through all your amazing takes from the bad ones or bloopers.
Call it something like Smart Footage or something.
