Here's a suggestion that will make a big difference and add incredible value to the camera without a lot of cost (Since it's mainly software based)
The camera could have a waveform / vectorscope ability built into it's monitor or viewfinder. Even better, allow the user to select video / waveform / vectorscope or some combo.
As we move into the digital world more and more, these two items are of major importance.
