I posted this in the HVX News, but haven't gotten much response. I was on a shoot the other day, put the P2 card in the slot, pushed record and nothing happened. The timecode was frozen, then about three seconds later an error flashed on the HVX finder saying 'System Error, P2 Micron error' What is this all about? After re-booting the camera, and switching the P2 card into the second slot, same thing, same error displayed. I then went the my scene file card menu, I loaded the original default scene files onthe HVX and the camera started rolling. But, as soon as loaded a scene file that I downloaded from this forum, the same error happened.
A user suggested I should download the P2 firmware upgrade, but that is only available on PCs, and I have a mac. Is this the problem I have been having.
I need some serious porfessional help, Jan? I am worried I have a faulty P2 card or Cam.

Sounds like you loaded the wrong scene file.
Not sure which country your camera is for, but the scene files need to match the same country.

It would be P for ntsc, and I think T for others.

If you don't have any friends with a PC, ya gotta get out of that MAC club more! :)
Seriously, I would gitter done before doing any more shoots. There is a reason Panasonic released the update.

I don't have access to a PC that has a PCMIA Slot to upgrade the P2 Frimware, so there is no way to see if this is indeed the problem I have been having. has anyone else expereinced the system error?
