Does anyone know of a wireless focus system so you don't have to be right next to the camera to focus. I'd like to have the Camera Operator have a little more room, by moving the AC a few feet away. This will be used on 35mm lenses more often then the HVX lense itself, as I'm getting a 35mm adapter for it.

I just asked this exact question a minute ago, but in the "Hardware" forum. (probably a better place for this question) If you find an answer, let me know.

The most accurate systems utilize a microwave signal for transmission. Preston is the industry standard.

Actually the transmission frequency does not influence on the accuracy as all focus systems send the signal as digital data, even the cheaper Bartech.
Most use 12 bit precision.
I agree the preston FIZ is the most used in USA, but in europe the ARRI unit is the preferred unit.
The Bartech is also very popular among steadicam operators.
The BFD single channel and the M-one servo is $4000
Another economic wireless focus device is the new MK-V:

It's about $5000 for the single channel with with one servo.
The dual channel is $10000 with 2 servos.
The preston FIZ is around $17000 for the two channel with 2 servos.
The preston is more advanced and it also supports a third channel for the microforce zoom.
But for normal focus operation the performance is almost identical.
