Okay, so I'm thinking about buying a cineporter but I already have 2 4 gig P2 cards and for the same cash pretty much as the cineporter I could go with a third 4 gig P2 and the P2 store. If I go P2 store I could just swap out the P2's and have enough of a blanket between cards (I'll be shooting 720p on my next project) durring the dump offs with the three cards. If I buy the cineporter I NEVER have to swap out anything + I can shoot 1080i no problem space wise. I've heard of drop outs using the firestore (and today someone said theirs was smoking!!!!) so thats out of the question, I have not heard much about the cineporter either way. Does any one have any advice with how I should buy?-thanks-Adam

The CinePorter is not on the market yet. It may not be out for a couple of months, or several months, and there's no way to predict how well it will function until users have their hands on them and put them through their paces.
So if you need a solution that works today, go with what's available today. If you can afford to wait, then there are some promising options that may be out soon (such as the CinePorter). But the question is what do you need and when do you need it. If you need it now, the CinePorter is not an option for you yet.
