That was the coolest thing visually and stylistically I think I have seen shot with the DVX. Very very well done!

How did you get that shallow DOF? I noticed in the Making Of section there was another lens attached to the DVX100 lense, is that what helps give that DOF? Where can I purchase one? Thanks.
That was amazing.. I wouls love to know a bit more about the production. what settings, if a 35mm adapter was used what lighting you used.
Congratulations that was a truly stunning piece of cinsmatography, Direction and editing.

Wow. This is fantastic! That's really all I have to say.
downloading the trailer now, stills and site look great
from the looks of it, looks like one of the diy adapters, with a bunch of spacers. Maybe the go35 or my35? really similar to the ifocus

I cant watch things with nails that might break off.. I'd rather see someones head cut off..
Looks nice though!
But I have a thing about nails breaking off.. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Good job on the short, but it seemed very and redundantly surreal...
DVX did its job, don't forget the rest! :(

The director is a member here. He's Michal Gutowski, registered as Firre.
He currently uses an M2, and can be seen quite often in redrocks forum...
Cheers!

that looks like the "enormous apparatus" 35 adapter. it's very similar to any of the static designs floating around here. it's made up of various filter rings and a ground glass like any other...

ýeah i've seen this a long time ago as well.
and i dont think it's really about camera settings and more about what team made this short. the lighting, production, camera work etc is all excellent

My guess is that it's an M2, Firre owns an M2 and attends the M2 forum.
