heres the deal. i wanted to get a shot looking up a baskettball hoop, as the ball falls into the lens, then make it transition to a soccer ball flying out. i was told the best way to do it would be to have some strong kind of glass above it so a friend and baught a thick sheet of glass and i held one end as he help the other, luckilly we had a tripod so no one was under looking up. i threw the ball in, and instead of a perfect swoosh, it hit the rim, fell in at the wrong angle, and heres what happened.

Yep.......plexiglass! I've used the plexiglass tricks on a few occassions and it saved the camera while getting the shot. Most of the time I was protecting the camera from shrapnel.

haha yeah i thaught what i got was plexi glass. im only 16 so i dunno too much haha.
the glass i got was sturdy, i dropped the ball on it a few times from the same hieght and nothing happened, but the time i shot it in the hoop it hit the side of the glass instead of the center. oh well. live and learn

You do know plexiglass is not actually glass right? (It flexes based on the thickness)
