Just curious if anybody has tried Instant HD from Red Giant? It up converts DV to HD by adding pixels. It would seem that one advantage of this would be for transfer to 35mm or festival screening as straight HD? Anyway, just wondering how well it works.
Thanks

I haven't tried firsthand but from what I've heard from people that know other people who use it, it works pretty darn good!

I've read that it can be used to make SD footage blend better with real HD footage. My question is, can it be used simply to make SD footage look better as SD footage?

Yeah, I'm curious as to this question too. Reguardless of the HD, does the SD just look overall better?
