Here is a link to a promo for a feature I wrote and am directing that just began shooting in Nashville, TN. It was made specifically for investors so it's not your traditional "teaser" or "trailer". It was merely meant to give them an idea of what the film would look and sound like as well as introduce them to the actors, while just hinting at the story.
We shot it with 3 DVXs in about 10 hours.
I am still seeking additional investor funding. Any interested parties can contact me through the email on the front page of my website. Serious inquires only please.
Enjoy.

Heads up: Some PCers have had problems viewing it.

This was shot in Nashville? From the accent of the actresses, they sounded like "Valley Girls" from Los Angeles. LOL! Anyway the look of the trailer is nice. Good luck.

Very very cool. I'm always amazed at what people can do with this camera. I wish I could learn faster! Very filmic.

Pretty good teaser :) This looks like it could be a lot of fun to watch. I'm a little worried about the acting from some of the females, but oh well.
You know, this teaser almost made it feel like it might be a television mini series or something by the way the characters were introduced. Could it be??? lol

Glad everyone is enjoying it. We recorded sound via boom, direct to Pro Tools on a Mac. No ADR, just a great sound man (Matt Hamilton), boom asst. and mixer (Alex Altman), original music (Geoff Koch)... that's about it. I learned the lesson a long time ago: Don't skimp on sound! Wait until you can get the best.
Edited in Avid by Matthew Dyer who also shot 3rd cam using a Glidecam for the steadi shots.
