SGpro/DVX100 footage. External full res

Hello,

I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Morgen over the last couple of days, he is the director of the short film SOLO that can be found on this site. He bought down his DVX and we went out and shot some footage with the SGpro.

Main lenses used were a 28mm F1.8, 85mm F1.8 and a 75 - 210 F3.5 zoom.

Great adapter. Didnt see any CA. But me thinks you could use a Follow focus :)

Now the SGpro does not flip the image correct?

Does the adapter come with a lens?

I dont get much chance to shoot stuff, so when I do I love to share here. It was an extremely windy day (hence the bad hair) and our tripod was just too flimsey so most was handheld footage. The thing I love most is the rich colours. The Sgpro does not flip, so the image is 180 degrees upside down. The Sg does not come with SLR lenses.

1 thing to note for anyone using an adapter on their dvx's, TURN OFF the optical image stabilizer! This goes for any 35mm adapter, the 35mm frame was wobbling into shot in some of the footage, even though the SG and DVX are connected solidly! I got fraustrated as I could not work it out until I found it that it was the OIS and in fact not from any physical wobble.

Hello,

The 28mm F1.8 was a Sigma (I really love this lens), the 85mm F1.8 was a Canon S.S.C and the 75-210mm F3.5 was a vivitar. All Canon FD fit.
