Hey everyone,

In December, I posted the first screenshots from a feature horror film entitled "Plasterhead", shot on the DVX by myself and fellow board member Salerno, along with a lot of information on the film, it's plot, and the shooting experience. That thread can be found here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=41285

Now, five months later, the film is beginning to emerge from the depths of post-production. A fine cut is complete, a score is almost done, and only color correction, ADR, and sound effects loom on the horizon (not to mention finding distribution). Many of you were interested in the film the first time around, so I thought I'd post some new screenshots for your viewing pleasure, and to let you know that the film is very much alive and on its way.

Any questions are welcome. The screenshots have been mildly color corrected with Magic Bullet. Enjoy.

i love the first grab. lighting makes the sheriff look very evil. Also the car driving away from the body, the sky looks very creepy. The feel you have achieved is great with these think you've done an excellent job.

Great Shots! Fully creative and proffesional!
Can you please tell us what kind of additional equipment you used with your DVX? Adapters etc.

Congrats for the great job. Can't wait to see the movie :)

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the kind words so far. In terms of adaptors, we used nothing but two DVX100As. I had toyed with the idea of using the Anamorphic Adaptor (which I own), but our budget left us with a TIGHT shooting schedule, and the arduous focus process that needs to be done for each shot with the Anamorphic Adaptor was just not feasible.

Keep the comments and questions coming!

Awesome. I applaude what you are doing on a low/no budget, I feel your pain, LOL! Any special scene file settings ?
