Here is a 3min short that my friend and I turned in for our final project for a video class my first year of film school.
We were working on another project that was intended to be our final project. We had about 20hours worth of hard work put into the shooting and another 10hours of editing. But, the night before it was due we got together and started cleaning up the editing we had done before. Then we were about to lay down the voice over and we started running into problems every two seconds. The time is now 4AM, 4 hours till our deadline and my friend passed out on a bean bag by his 15" Powerbook where he was editing some scenes. I am on my Dual G4 editing some scenes too, but trying to figure out our voice over issues. Then, it all happens. My friend Mike Zelinski wakes up and goes to the bathroom, comes back and lays backdown. He dozes off but quickly wakes up to tell me "The toiltet paper is so soft!" and pulls out a peice of toilet paper. I jump and grab my videocamera and we shot this in 15min, edited it in 2.5hrs, authored it on a DVD in 30min, ditched our other project and then rushed down to our campus to turn this in instead. We got an A.
