I filmed this last night and had a bout 15 minutes to throw my bag and tripod in the truck, drive to a mountain and climb.....no, run up the side for a shot.
This is my first attempt at putting some DVX footage together and editing.
I have a lot to learn.

Almost had a heart attack running up the hill and still hurting from last weeks cracking a rib saving my DVX from falling into the waterfall I was filming.....at night. I slipped on a log and bounced off the log. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Please give me your advice and critique so I can absorb for my real work coming soon!

Yeah, the DVX had a little jolt from the fall but I feel bad for the log.

It was the clown face I wanted to put in the thing.....with the "My Milkshake song".
I wanted cows, clowns and milk cartons with missing kids that were really killed by clowns.

(joking and referring to another video on the dvxuser website)

No face that I can see???

Beautiful sunset & footage. Nice choice of music too! Any special settings or CC?

24Pa and nothing more than the camera. No CC of any sort just shot a bunch 10 or 12 minute takes an chopped it together.
I LOVE this camera!

I burned a DVD at the highest settings and it is absolutely beautiful, incredible and delicious!
The compressed online video doesn't tell how awesome that camera captured the colors of the sunset.
I HAVE to get an external monitor for my editing because the video on my 23" HP LCD screen didn't look like the DVD on my TV. I also didn't think I was capturing very good footage because it was dark and the DVX LCD screen showed a whole lot of noise. I just sat there wishing I was on the other side of the mountain where the Sunset really was. I played with the iris and the 2 ND's through the footage and gave up with the whole evening thinking I wasn't capturing anything good, just dark and noisy.

Watch for the airplanes at the beginning and end, they look like shooting stars sped up to 2,000%.

Great musical choice! I really enjoyed this. That sunset was beautiful! (or multiple sunsets)
