What is the difference between exporting Movie, and exporting Adobe Media Encoder in Premiere Pro 1.5? Can you give me an example on using each.
THanks

Matt

Exporting a movie will produce a movie as per your project settings. eg a PAL DVavi. (No encoding involved - maybe some rendering).

Exporting through the Media Encoder offers you many options to Encode the project to different delivery formats. eg mpeg, wmv etc ( encoding involved in all these processes and they usually take some time to achieve)

You would need to encode in a streaming format and others will be much more qualified to advise you on this.

Yeah, I've been trying to export (or Media Encode) a piece edited in HDV. I can either get it with the correct aspect ratio (1440X1080) with interlacing that looks horrible or I can get it in the wrong aspect ratio (1920X1080) with no interlacing. Any clues anyone???
