Well I had my music video shoot this past weekend, and I rented a letus35 from Billy (he's on this board somewhere). :)

I had 4 lenses, and NONE of them fit either lens mount on the adapter. I was forced to take drastic measures. I took off the lens mount and just put the lens in its place. Then I made sure I had a sturdy taping job so nothing would fall off, and I was set. The images still came through and I'm happy with the result. my footage seems a little soft, but i've seen similar results with other letus footage.

my thought is, If I used lenses that actually fit the mount, would my footage be any sharper/better?

Yes, the reason it looks soft is due to the lens being shifted away or inward toward the GG. Basically your lens wasn't in the right place, and yes a little mm off will do it.
