Well I finally got keylight and I setup a small little greenscreen in my garage and gave it a try. All the random movement was done in After Effects and the muzzle flashes were just jpegs. Yes I know I am young and I look retarded with the sweet leather jacket but, it adds to the "effect"

Not sure why the random movement was in there but good first try. The background is far to bright compared to you.

do you have a grab of the greenscreen? I was wondering about what color of green to use.

Dude i say kick him off....haha jk. Nice try...i know AE pretty well...i'd increase the scale of the background, you can clearly see black, when the "handheld" cam effect is in... try working with CC as well
i like it. you should see my sad attempts!,
i like the gun fire as well, i have been experementing with the same thing.

That was my first attempt ever. I did do some CC but I guess not enough. Some help on CC'ing would be thanked for. I thought I'd be getting replies like haha nice try or something. Thanks for the support. random question but how old do I look, Im only 14.

I thought it was pretty clean. I will be doing my first attempts with green screen and the dvx100 in the next few days for Hero Fest.

Dude.....you look 14 with a nerf dartgun. Are you looking to get some atta boy's because you are the same age as most guys socks on here?
Well then here is a pat on the back because you outdid my first BLUEscreen attempt last week.
I bought some green material right after I saw how hard it was to work with the blue.
Great work kid who is same age as my socks. :)

Nice clean key... Good job! I'm surprised you didn't run into any problems around the edges of the jacket, I've noticed quite a bit of artifacts around high contrast shots with the Gl2, not an easy task to get it to look that good without lighting.

ya alright! glad to see im not the only 14 year old on here...alhtough I have been working with green screens since I was 10! Keylight is good stuff, try out compostie lab from FX home its amazing (basically if you shots suck, you can key it and fix it in composite [it works miracles!]). But lucky you you have a better cam. then me...i hoping for an XL2 or GL2 for xmas! keep up the good work!
P.S. Also there is another prgm called "FX home" I have that too! it IS SOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING. Its great for muzzle flashses (no offense but they are better than the ones in your vid [constructive critisim] and also AMAZING for lightsabers, fire, fog, rain....etc!
