I think you might have pushed the contrast too high, which will add quite a bit of noise. The original grab looks a little too dark. I gave it a shot: The first is colder the second is a little warmer.

I actually enjoyed the style of the first CCed grab. Sure, it's got some noise and grain, but I think it's a cool style.

yeah, i'm not sure if I want to saturate everything so much.
I did push the contrast a lot, maybe i'll tone it down.
