For the field grabs I was trying to get a washed out low saturation earthy feel I did this by layering footage and ccing each layer separatly and then turing the top layer opaque to bring the two together.

The city skyline is by far my favorite color corrected grab. The original looks kind of hazy, but the second version of it looks really nice.

Is this with an anamorphic adapter? If so that really makes me want to go and get one more than I originally wanted. These look great!

Thanks for the coments guys and gals.

I'm going to be shooting a music video in the middle of the night in that field and the yellow flowers are a bonus.

Sorry to burst your bubble Bryan, but no anamorphic adaptor here. I just liked the grabs papa posted on Prague so much I had to try cropping some of my own. The anamorphic adaptor is quite expensive and kinda cumbersome I've heard, but I'd love to have one as well.

lol thanks bro.

Please explain the kind of look your going for. Some of your grabs i like but i quesiton some of the CC applied.

But over all they have a great feeling to them.

my favorite is the city with the river and boat in them. Great grab, nice framing, nice colours. The second one, that is.

I put a little title above each. I have yet to shoot the field at night, so I was trying to get a desaturated feeling for the first couple grabs while still keeping a little bit of color. It's almost got a sephia tone, but not quite. I want to be able to focus mainly on lighting composition since at night I will be able to control everything. I've got to get some blue filters for my tungsten halogens to get rid of the nasty red. I also switched my viewfinder to B&W for that purpose. All the rest of the grabs were experimental or original w/no cc just throwing them up for the hell of it. Nice looking grabs are EZ. The hard part is cutting a video that people enjoy watching. I like the idea of using nature and realtime special effects. I am trying to emulate Martin De Thurah's Style a little. I just wish I could shoot in 35mm like he does.
