Tight. Good shooting, lighting, editing (interviewing, etc.). Unbelievable that the band and filmmakers are all juniors in high school. Probably a better interview than any during at least the first decade of MTV. Shows how technology democratizes art and raises the bar for all of us.

Wow. I enjoyed that. I say "wow" cause' I really wasn't expecting to. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) I was entertained.

When you were prompting them with questions, were they really easy to work with or did it take a while for them to get into it?

Of course, you can tighten further, color correct, add some effects, etc. But all that's beside the point. It's still very good already.

Ummm... take your dialogue audio and spread it evenly through the right and left channels. Right now the audio from the guy on the left (long hair) is only coming through the right channel, and the guy in the middle is stronger in the left channel. It's really annoying.

Other than that, I thought it was alright. It was, somehow, entertaining... and funny at parts. Better lighting would have worked wonders, but it works how it is. Nice job.

Tell them to stop picking on Scott. Geeezzzzzzzzzz.

I agree with this.

Agree with this too. In general the lighting looked a little flat.

Nice work though otherwise. Keep it up. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

haha i think its so funny that you guys picked up on them picking on scott haha. they did it a lot more. as for the interview, i know them so it was cool. i would bel ike, so tell me werhe you got your influences, and theyd go. quite simple.

as for lighting, i didnt have any, it was natural lights lol. but i was wondering about the audio. i had two mics plugged into my camera, the guy on the left, and teh guy on the right. so i had to make each a seperate channel. (right and left) how can i spread it out?

also scotts mic was on a diff camera which got close ups that i have to edit in. so thats coming shortly!

Not sure what program you're using...

you have to convert it from "mono" (one channel) to "stereo" (two channels).

If it's already in two channels, convert those to one mono, then convert that to stereo. It's not the "pro" way to do it, but it would work just fine for this project.

What editing program are you using?? any audio software?

EDIT: hell, you could even just copy the "right" channel, and paste it into the "left"

update!

this is my final version. its for my high schoo news program. so i had to trim it to around 2 minutes. sucks i think cause of that. as a note, i counted around 80 cuts, to appeal to my school with its short attention span. enjoy!
