Curious only!

No, Jarred and Barry do not work for Panasonic. This place was started by Jarred because when the DVX came out, it was absolutely revolutionary and changed the way that we all thought about sub $5,000 cameras. This was started as a community for people who bought the camera, and wanted to do all that they could with it.

There's no doubt that DVX's have been bought by people because of this site, but if it were a crappy camera; they wouldn't continue to sell well.

Totally agree! I'm thinking xl2 or dvx 100b either way it goes I'm buying a mini 35 I love the colors that are produced with the dvx on the other hand I love the image quality on the xl2 native 16x9. High def isn't a option I figure with either one of these cameras they'll be able to hold their own.

Expecially in the right hands of MUAH!

If you squint really hard at the photo of Jarred at the bottom of the page in that article he looks like James Marsters from Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Jarred worked at the panny booth at nab, so maybe he did work for panny and DVX user at the same time....

Actually, I was at the Panasonic booth when someone asked him if he worked for Panasoninc. He answered no.

So he was just hanging out at the panny booth, in a panny shirt, answering questions about panisonic with the other guys who where working for panisonic?

Weird.

Someone tell him he should be getting paid for that.

But who cares if he works for panisonic? I don't.

It's not like he's ramming any doctrine down anyones throat. There are even other camera sections to this forum. And he's a pretty chilled moderator. He could be the owner of panisonic for all I care.
