i found some ggs on optosigma... http://www.optosigma.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=OS&Product_Code=pg215&Category_Code=Filters+%26+Apertures what grade should i get for my adapter? and should i go w/ g;lass or silica... would it matter all that much?

Use the search lol, this has been discussed to death. The higher the grade, the less grain. lol

Yes I've herd that they're (THORLABS) just as good, but cheaper.
the thorlabs 2inch diamiater im guessin will fit in the 2 inch tube?

It might not fit, due to the pieces being the same size. Is the tube plastic or metal?
i am not sure.. it doesnt specify but i am asumming it will fit bc the screen is the size designed to fit in the tube i think...

EDIT: i just saw your location, so id say you probally are also. thats pretty cool. this summer i am going to make a First Vision film. (if not this summer, next spring) Its going to be very different. Not the sugar-coated films that the church produces to be modest. but i will make a truthful, full account, with some artistic liberties slipped in. First half of the movie will be on the edge of your seat scary. (like it should be when dealing with an advesary). It will be my first big production.
yah.. im actually 18 haha and not very logical :-/

im was just being snippy xfoo. I just get that way when i read things that are discussed already. Thats why they made a point to say use the search button more. and if you need more help, theres much more info in the Alternative Imaging Methods at dvinfo.net search there and youll find alot.
k... i have it down now what i am gunna do... just waiting for my stuff to come from thorlabs.. im gunna try out their diffuser for my first try at this.
