Nice work with the turntable. Did you keep the platter on any sort of spindle or does it simply sit on the ground?

Also, well done with the spiderbrace. So, is it just the top of the mount that's plastic or is that entire assembly plastic? Perhaps an assembly of similar dimensions in metal could be found to increase the strength?

Regardless, an intriguing mod and I'm now a bit closer to considering a spiderbrace.

Hello Ian, the platter just sits on the ground. I only had to drill the spindle hole up to 10 mm. It all depends on the kind of platter you can lay your hands on.
The Spiderbrace base is all plastic. But sturdy enough is my expectation.
Excellent value for money!
