I'm having a problem with the "show/hide timeline" button in the video effects window. It's the button that looks like this...>> or <<, and it controlls whether you can see the key frames you have made on a certain clip for those of you that didn't understand what button I was talking about. Well, the button won't let me click it for some reason and I don't know what to do. I tried repairing Premiere but that didn't do anything. If anyone knows what I could do about this I would be very greatful because I have two projects I need to do in two weeks.

Try resetting the Effect Controls window. Close it and reopen it from the Window menu. It might be "stuck" on something...
Try moving the Effect Controls window to a different place on your screen. You might not have enough room to manipulate it.
Also try opening one of the default Workspaces.

And if that doesn't work, you should be able to uninstall/reinstall without affecting any of your projects.
Good luck!

The show/hide button in effects controls is disabled if there's not enough room for it. Stretch the effects controls window out and you'll be able to click it.
