Imported film clips dont render smoothly

Alright I'm just getting started learning editing on Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 but I'm really stuck.
I've burned all my film clips on to a dvd disk after digitizing onto a mini DV. Right now I have imported the takes into the project but when I put them in the timeline and rendered them they were choppy. If anyone knows how I might be able to fix this problem any suggestions would be fabulous.

Never Mind everyone for some reason I started working again and it fixed itself

if u run over the same issue another time try putting an effect or CC on your clip and see if that fixes it, cheers!
