Man, that's a terrific resource. How did it work out for you?

Why don't you buy airsoft guns? You get realistic "blowback" action with the gas handguns. And they look exactly the same as the real thing. They're also made of metal so it helps sell the realism to the actor.

If you need help finding airsoft guns, just type "airsoft" on ebay or google.

Hi guys ..sorry for the delay , been busy ..

TC (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?u=1662) It all worked out great !.These guys were more than to accommodate me in a special request which leads me to menchifus (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?u=10960) ...I would love to have an air soft gun BUT there are illegal to import as they are classified as a restricted weapon ( the one I wanted )..ya ya I know Stupid !!but that is the law here .
So my option is to import a fiberglass replica gun BUT it must be another colour other than Gun metal Blue or Black....But I can legally import the same gun which has been deactivated .. Even the guys at the Fire arm center think this law is stupid and are trying to change it .
They mentioned in the U.K they will be or maybe have already made all air soft guns illegal .

If I tried to import that restricted item , it may have made it past customs ..But if it didn't I would be charged with trying to import a restricted weapon !!!!!!!!!
I did purchase at Canadian Tire a replica hand gun (BB gun) that is 1930
and up style ...

Go figure .Our gun laws here are just plain crazy.

No F.A.C are required for a Musket (flint) They changed that 3 yrs ago .so there is some hope.

Why don't you buy airsoft guns?Because I've been looking for something similar to the Detective Special (though I didn't know that's what it was called until I found it.) This site has it for $80.

Wow, your gun laws are crazy. It's still good that you were able to get a prop, that's the most important thing! Hope it works out well for you!

The Fire Arm Center has been holding meetings to see if changes are needed . They used my case as an example . The laws were written about 15 yrs ago , they were put into place to prevent 12 yr olds from purchasing these replicas .
The air soft gun I was looking at met all the requirements EXCEPT it was a 1:1 ratio and was black. And yet a deactivated gun is legal !!!!! ????
They believe the laws are unfair in cases like mine and they hope to change that !
I am hoping with our new Goverment , changes are coming.
