Pulsating light.

I get pulsating lights when I light a scene. Playback on cam is fine but not when I export it after editing,the lights do a wierd pulsating effect and it pisses me off. I shoot in 24p if that matters.

Are you using PP 1.5 by chance?

yea I am using 1.5. I found out that if I shoot in 24pa it doesn't happen.

I think the flickering was confirmed as a bug with 1.5. I believe it was mentioned as one of the fixes with 2.0. Don't quote me on this.

Just out of curiosity...are you able to open footage shot 24p, in a 29.97 timeline? When I was using 1.5...all 24p footage was 23.976, it always removed the pulldown. I think this was another bug. I'm much happier with 2.0.

I have never tried using 24p footage in a 29.97 timeline. I'm thinking of buying the $199 upgrade to 2.0 it seems much better.

Yes, it's a bug with PPro 1.5. I've had that exact problem. Use PPro 2.0, and you'll be all set.

No need for me to upgrade at the moment. If I shoot in 24pa there is no flicker.
