I don't have my HVX yet (it's being shipped right now), but I was surfing this forum for general information and came across the thread on hacking the scene files to allow 2fps to 60fps. Now, with that, would it be possible to save a scene file with a resolution of 1080 then hack it to 2fps with a PC? Or does it not let you save scene files when not using 720p? Like I said, I don't have my HVX yet so I have no clue how the process goes, but thought I would throw the idea out there.

No... According to the thread that reported this you can't use Variable frame rates in 1080.... basically because its 1080I, not P.... so it almost impossible to capture variable frame rates Interlaced.

The (hopefully) forthcoming Andromeda for the HVX will almost certainly allow for uncompressed variable-frame-rate 1080. The stock HVX cannot do it, but the Andromeda modification should make it possible.
