Exporting to dvd as a quicktime file

For some reason I'm having problems exporting my movie as a quicktime file to dvd. Someone is doing the score and it takes forever exporting the movie as a quicktime file to my external. Even after that I will have to burn it to dvd.

It will not let me change the the default which is meg2 for dvd for some reason. I can create my own preset for encoding as a quicktime. I go to export to dvd and it still shows as a mpeg file.

Any suggestions?

He needs it as a quicktime file to import it into pro tools. Other alternative I'm just going to send him my external along with pr pro so he can just import the tracks.

DVDs are always encoded as mpegs so what you need to do is give the sound guy a file (QT) as a data file. Copoy the file to any disk it will fit on.

Use the DVD disk as a data disk if the file is very large or use a CD if the file will fit .
