I'm selling my used Skycrane Jr. 8 foot jib. Details for this jib can be found:
http://www.skycrane.com/jr.html

This is used, so it shows signs of wear, however it is still in excellent working condition. I will ship you everything that comes with the jib, so you will only need to add your own weights (it's crazy to ship weights) and sticks. The beauty of this setup is that you don't need to use your tripod head... it comes with it's own head that attaches to the sticks.

I'm selling because, while excellent for my DVX or barebones HVX, this thing can't handle my two-ton HVX with M2 setup.

This jib sells for $549. I'm asking $425 plus whatever shipping method you prefer.

Here are photos.

hmm, nice setup you got there. Question though, im not interested in the purchase but do wonder something, what makes theweight limit on the crane? is it because it will wobble or bob up and down if the camera is too heavy? or will it snap like a twig?

This is a cable driven system, so a heavy camera can cause the cable to slip making it impossible to maintain control on the tilt.

The dolly in the pictures is also available, but unless you can do local pickup in Atlanta I'm thinking the shipping costs would be really high. This is a heavy dolly that requires at least 2 people to lift.

The dolly is free. Someone just needs to come and haul it away!

I re-used the handle for my new dolly, but the platform with wheels still attached is just sitting unused in the garage.

Really ? Wow. You have a good "lowest" price.
Does it work well for you. Why did you get a new one ?
