So, here I am with a B.A. in fine art and many hours of drawing under my belt... which is the problem. I sit down to start story boarding and I end trying to make a masterpiece. I can't seem to break the habit, so I want to start using a simple story board program so I can become a little more efficient. I know there are several. I have tried a couple, but they seemed a bit overcomplicated. One was bad enough that I would have been better off using Maya to storyboard.

So, anyway. Can anybody recommend a quick, simple, and effective story board program?

If you're on a pc, you can use MS Paint. No way are you going to spend time trying to make a beautiful storyboard in Paint! You just d/l a storyboard template then fill in the panels on your compy.

But in answer to your actual question, here is alink to one http://www.storyboardartist.com/artist.html. It's not cheap, but it looks effective.
